Our history
Semiweb was founded by Redouane Bouali, Martin Albert and Gregory Hubin with one shared conviction: the health, research and higher education sectors deserve tools designed for their realities.
For nearly 20 years, we have developed and evolved platforms that support research management, ethics, collaboration and innovation. Development technologies and tools have changed — from SVN to GitHub, from the earliest platforms to today's products — but our approach has stayed the same: listening to organizations and building durable, configurable solutions.
Our solutions evolve in collaboration with our clients, according to their real needs and processes. This closeness to the field lets us build relevant, flexible and durable platforms.
Every organization is unique. Our platforms are designed to adapt to different contexts, whether health institutions, universities or research centres, with or without a research ethics committee.

An internist and intensivist physician, professor and health-sector leader, Redouane Bouali has extensive clinical, academic and leadership experience in Canada and Switzerland. He has held several responsibilities in medical direction, critical care organization and hospital management. Co-founder of Semiweb, he contributes as an expert advisor to the company's direction.
